Role:
This is a pivotal role for CTJ Diamonds and Jewellery, combining both sales and administrative responsibilities. The key person will be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients in selecting and purchasing the finest diamonds and jewellery pieces. Building strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation for outstanding service.
In addition to front of house sales duties, the associate also handles various administrative tasks, which may include managing customer inquiries, maintaining sales records, and coordinating appointments. The associate will actively contribute to the smooth operation of the showroom and the overall business.
Furthermore, the role may involve assisting with ad hoc duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to various aspects of the business. This versatile position requires a candidate who can seamlessly transition between sales and administrative tasks, consistently delivering excellence in both areas.
Key responsibilities:
Engage with customers in a face-to-face sales environment.
Form strong customer relationships through personalised interactions.
Promote high client repeat rate through effective practices.
Exhibit luxury standards in presentation and behaviour.
Handle and resolve customer issues and complaints.
Utilise problem-solving skills to address challenges.
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Apply prior retail experience, preferably in the jewellery industry.
Participate in courses and training for continued growth.
Assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
Strive to maintain and improve customer service standard
Experience
Minimum of two years retail experience, preferably experience within the jewellery industry is highly regarded.
Demonstrated expertise in sales.
Strong problem-solving abilities and able to take initiative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in luxury retail sales.
Gemology Certificate/Diploma is desirable but not necessary.
